1. Who controls your information
WORLDIDP INTERNATIONAL LLC (“WorldIDP,” “we,” “us”) is responsible for personal information processed through worldidp.com and our translation service. Our mailing address is 127 N Higgins Ave Ste 307D #2849, Missoula, MT 59802, USA.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use the service, we may collect:
- contact details such as name, email address and telephone number;
- request details such as document type, source and target language, intended use, deadline and notes;
- order, billing and transaction records (payment card data is handled by the payment processor, not stored by us in full);
- documents or images you provide after a secure submission method is agreed;
- support communications and records of consent or instructions;
- technical information such as IP address, browser type, device, referring page and security logs;
- cookie and analytics information as described in our Cookie Policy.
3. How and why we use information
We use information to review requests, provide quotations, perform and deliver translations, verify instructions, process payments, answer support requests, prevent fraud, protect our systems, keep legally required records and improve the website. Where applicable, we rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests, legal obligations or consent.
4. Identity and document handling
Travel-related documents may contain sensitive identifiers. We limit access to people and service providers who need it to perform the requested service. Customers should use only the submission channel we provide and should not send unnecessary pages or details. We may refuse or delete files that are unrelated, unlawful, unreadable or sent without an active request.
5. When information is shared
We may share limited information with service providers supporting secure hosting, email, storage, payment processing, customer support, fraud prevention and professional advice. Providers may use the information only for contracted purposes. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights, or in connection with a business transaction. We do not sell personal information for money.
6. International processing
Our company is based in the United States and our providers may process information in other countries. Where required, we use contractual and organizational safeguards for cross-border transfers.
7. Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the service, customer support, fraud prevention, accounting and legal obligations. Document files are kept only for the active service and a limited support period, then deleted or de-identified according to our retention process unless law requires longer storage. No system can be guaranteed completely secure, but we use access controls, encrypted transport and provider safeguards appropriate to the risk.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or receive a copy of information, object to certain processing, withdraw consent and complain to a regulator. We may need to verify identity before fulfilling a request. Email privacy@worldidp.com.
9. Children
Our service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted information should contact us.
10. Changes
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the service or law. The date above identifies the current version.
