This is the detail that wastes people's time. AAA operates as a federation of regional clubs, and IDP issuance is offered at participating branches rather than at every location. A branch appearing on a map is not confirmation that it processes permits.
Call the specific branch before travelling to it and ask two things: whether it issues International Driving Permits, and whether it does so same-day. Those are separate questions and a branch can answer yes to the first and no to the second.
